Every generation has those parents that, after having a child and a few years of nurturing, think they have the rewritten the book of parenting for everybody else. Apparently, most of these parents attend my church.

I wish they were around when I was raising my son, so I could bow down at their feet and worship their pearls of wisdom.

But then again, at that time, they would have been children themselves, which probably explains their current parenting naivete.
